Another Spiritual Successor?! Combat Core On Kickstarter!!
Crowdfunding has become an integral part of making passion projects like Skull Girls become fully realized and enjoyed by a countless amount of the community.
Often times, we dream about recreating video games that gave us hours upon hours of fun times and great memories but very few of us decide to make it a reality.
At first glance, Combat Core is a dead ringer for the classic four player fighter Power Stone.
This spiritual successor has a look and feel that makes it hard to deny the attention to detail. Just a few minutes playing the Alpha build has without a doubt convinced me that a final build would be very welcomed especially for those who greatly enjoyed playing this style of fighting game in the past.
With a build that already has 4 player local and plans to introduce online play in the final build, I’m hopeful that we will see this game enjoyed by many in the next year to come!
The initial Kickstarter release will be on Steam for digital download but there are plans to take the game to console as it already has approval for development on the Wii U and Xbox One!
$25+ backers will receive an immediate build of the game with ongoing updates as things progress.
With 27 days left to go in the Kickstarter campaign it wouldn’t hurt to try out the alpha build and get a real feel for the games mechanics.
