Big Announcements Planned For Evo 2016!!

With the biggest fighting game tournament coming just around the corner, there have been a few rumblings about some big announcements happening during Evolution 2016 this weekend!!

Capcom will be holding a panel for Street Fighter V with a range of topics which include content and development updates. It has been mentioned that there may be a big announcement but there hasn’t been any more information that we’ve divulged from this news!! There has been no confirmation as of yet to whether a live stream will be available none the less we will be keeping an eye out for any information that comes out of this panel.

Namco Bandai will also be on hand at EVO and Tekken game designer Michael Murray, who will be in attendance, has hinted at the possibility of there being some “cool news” during EVO. We suspect that there may be a special announcement during the finals of Tekken 7 so be on the look out during this time for a possible reveal!!

Microsoft Studios will have a panel for Killer Instinct as well and they may be revealing what many are speculating to be the final character for Season 3 of Killer Instinct! This may not be all they are announcing though. A leak has already surfaced for a definitive edition for the Xbox One so we expect to hear more details about this during the weekend as well. We also suspect that there will be more information about the KI Ultra Tour a tournament circuit which promises $100,000 in pot prizes for the upcoming season!!

While it has been confirmed that Nether Realm Studios will have some big news at their Comic-Con panel for Injustice 2 next week, we would not be surprised if they announced something for Mortal Kombat X or showed off something new for their upcoming Injustice 2 title.
