BlazBlue: Central Fiction Will Not Receive Another Version!!

With BlazBlue Central Fiction close to an official console release(October 6th in Japan), some may be already wondering if there will be a new edition like what has been done in the past with the series.

BlazBlue’s producer Toshimichi Mori in an interview for the recently released issue of Famitsu addressed the future of Central Fiction when it comes to additional content.

Mori assures players that while there may be eventual balance adjustments and new characters based on the demand, there will not be another full version of Central Fiction like there was with the previous titles in the series.

Mori also notes that Central Fiction is the story’s final conclusion and that you will find “significant things” with certain characters in when playing the games story mode.

Mori’s next title will no longer be dealing with the BlazBlue universe and unfortunately, it will not be a fighting game either.

BlazBlue has certainly had an amazing series starting from its humble beginnings back in 2008 with the emergence of what was the next generation of gaming during that time.

While we expect Central Fiction will have an amazing life span in this current generation, there is no doubt that Blazblue will seriously be missed and we certainly hope that Mori does revisit this franchise again in what we expect will be a distant future.
