Day One Patch To Add Training And Versus Mode For Street Fighter Collection!!

A recent blog entry on Capcom-Unity has revealed new details for the upcoming Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection pertaining to the Training and Versus Mode of certain titles. Originally, the 30th anniversary was only going to be a remastered arcade perfect port of each classic title which would have meant the absence of a training and versus mode. Fortunately, Capcom has heard fans concerns and are planning to release a day one patch that will add a training and versus mode!!

From what we understand, versus mode will be included on all 12 available titles in the collection. As for training mode, this will only be available for the online multiplayer modes which include Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike.

Unlike the Arcade’s 2 player mode, versus mode allows you to choose any character you want after each match win or lose. Versus mode will also feature a special stage select that will show you which stage each character originates from. In terms of the training mode, there will be universal options for each title but there will also be options that work within the confines of each game’s specific mechanics.

Additional details about these latest features can be found on the official Capcom-Unity blog. This recent news is certainly making us feel a bit more enthusiastic about this upcoming title which will arrive on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC May 29th of this month!!
