Extended Gameplay Trailer For Soul Calibur 6 Revealed At PSX!!
Last night the Playstation Experience revealed a new Soul Calibur 6 trailer highlighting more of Misturugi and Sophita’s gameplay:
The latest trailer seems to showcase the return of Critical Edge, a new mechanic introduced in Soul Calibur 5. A recent entry on the Playstation Blog also reveals a new mechanic called reversal edge which we believe was showcased on the new trailer with Sophita @ 1:02.
The blog also revealed that Soul Calibur VI will take place in the 16th century around the time of the original Soul Calibur which is why we see a younger Misturugi and the return of Sophita. The storyline for the latest entry will “uncover hidden secrets” and if it is as detailed as Tekken 7’s story mode was, then any new player being introduced to the series will certainly be up to speed on most of the lore when they play this game next year.
Soul Calibur VI will be coming to the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC(Steam)!!
