Nidhogg 2 Comes To PS4 On August 15Update!!!

Update 7/14/2017 10:01pm EDT- Mark Essen has confirmed that Nidhogg 2 will have a simultaneous release with the PS4 for the PC and Mac via Steam. An officially steam page has also been created for this upcoming title as well.

Nidhogg creator Mark Essen has officially announced the release date for the sequel to his popular fighting game title on the Playstation Blog!!

Nidhogg 2 will be coming to the Playstation 4 on August 15th!!! The second offering in the series has been given a graphics overhaul while adding more elements to the original gameplay.

Nidhogg’s main gameplay has each player fighting to reach the end of the oppositions stage where they will be met with…something nice. While this back and forth action proceeds players can switch between hand to hand and weapon based combat.

Nidhogg 2 features more weapons the newest of which includes a bow and arrow for giving players a lot more opportunities for long range combat than in the past. The latest details for Nidhogg 2 shows a wider selection for character designs so you will not only be seeing the bare skinned brawlers that were shown in the initial game reveal.

We believe a PC version of this title is on the way but nothing has been confirmed outside of the PS4 release at the moment. We definitely look forward to returning to the land of fight and run when Nidhogg 2 releases in August!!
