Update 4/15/2017 9:49am- Death pools, top 8 finals, and more await as the 2nd day of Norcal Regionals is just about begin.  We have updated the schedule information and streams below and hope you enjoy a day of what should be some insane competition!!

Get ready for a weekend of extreme fighting game competition!! Norcal Regionals 2017 is about to start in just a few!!

As a premier Capcom Pro Tour event, NCR 2017 is definitely bringing that hi-level Street Fighter V play back for the new season but as some may remember last year, it will come with a unique twist. The pool of death is returning and we can only hope that this bracket of death will be as exciting as it was last year!

Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is also making its return as a main event this year and with what we believe may just be this titles last year as a main competitive game, expect to see the players staking their claim as we get closer to Evolution 2017!!

The King Of Fighters XIV makes it debut to the tournament and with a nice prize pool courtesy of a donation drive, spear headed by the SDR podcast crew in collaboration with Matchinero, we definitely expect some heavy hitters will be in the building.

Here are the official games for Norcal Regionals 2017:

  1. Street Fighter V
  2. Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3
  3. Super Smash Bros. Wii U
  4. Super Smash Bros. Melee
  5. The King Of Fighters XIV
  6. Pokkén Tournament

If you happen to be in the Sacramento, California area, do not miss out on this event. In addition to the hi-level competition that will be showcased at this event, casuals, which includes an after hours gaming room, will be available during the weekend!!
