Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid To Release This Spring!!

If you grew up during the ’90s, chances are you came across the live-action, and super campy, superheroes known affectionately as the mighty morphing power rangers…I kid you not. In the past, many games based on the television show were released some of which were fighting games. Now it would seem following the movie that released back in 2017, toy company Hasbro, and publisher Lionsgate games, have collaborated with developer nWay games to bring you Battle For The Grid:

The latest gameplay trailer reveals Battle For The Grid as a 2 vs 2 tag team assist style fighting game which features a mixture of old and new characters from the Power Rangers universe. While the overall look of this title leaves a lot to be desired, the same may not likely be said for the gameplay which at first glance looks pretty fun, to be honest. The $19.99 retail price(pre-order price) is just enough to peak interest especially for those who were fans of the franchise.

An online mode is of course planned for this title, though the information is pretty sparse only revealing that special missions and tournaments will be planned throughout the year. Battle For The Grid will release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.
