SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy Announced For Switch!!

SNK is bringing what looks to be an exclusive title to Nintendo Switch owners! SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy was revealed during a Nintendo Mini Direct today giving us a brief look at this title targeted to release sometime this summer.

So far we know this new fighting game will feature an all-star SNK female cast. Yuri, Mai, Kula, Athena, Leona, and Kukri have been confirmed as playable characters in this latest SNK offering. We noticed at least one mechanic in particular that was introduced in The King Of Fighters XIV and it has been mentioned on Nintendo’s official website that the game will feature “one button special moves”.

NIS America, known mostly for their turn based strategy games, are the publishers of this title which is looking to bring a huge amount of customization for each cast member. It will be interesting to see how the developers choose to implement the popular tag system in this game and we will certainly be keeping an eye out for more information.
