Tekken World Tour Announced!!

2017 certainly feels like a great time to be a competitive fighting game player and the latest announcement from Tekken publishers Namco Bandai is cementing this further with their latest tournament series!!

Bandai Namco is teaming up with live video game streaming powerhouse Twitch to bring you Tekken World Tour!! The latest tournament circuit, which will feature the upcoming Tekken 7 Fated Retribution title, will be including several ranking tournaments within the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions.

Online tournaments will also be apart of the new series with the first competition happening in July for the east coast region. Evolution will be apart of circuit offering its champion the ONLY automatic qualifying spot of the series. This will all culminate in a final event that will happen here in North America. Over $200,000 in prize money are up for grabs!!

We were certainly excited about Tekken 7 coming to console but this latest announcement is definitely creating even more hype as we expect to see some new blood and veterans come out of the wood works to show they are the best in the world!!
