The biggest fighting game tournament on the east coast starts today!!! The Fall Classic is the beginning of a new premier fighting game competition that converges on Raliegh, NC. Bringing together the biggest names in fighting game tournament organizing on the east coast(Final Round, NEC, East Coast Throwdown), The Fall Classic wants to bring the hype and anticipation of an EVO event to the east coast.
Following their first year of competition, TFC looks to up the ante with bringing in players like PePeday, a recent winner of the Madcatz Tokyo Game Show competition who created one of the biggest upsets this year with his amazing El Fuerte exhibition. The Capcom Pro Tour is also giving the champion of USF4 at TFC an automatic spot in the top 16 ranking at Capcom Cup this year. With the tour coming very close to the end, you can expect a lot of fierce competition this weekend.
The main fighting games that will take place at the tournament are as follows:
