Stream.Me in collaboration with Gauntlet.gg has come together to bring you a new online series for Injustice 2 and the first top 8 competition is just about to get started in a few.
Over 500+ players competed in the first qualifying event for War Of The Gods, a 10 week online tournament circuit that will be offering cash prizes for each top 8 event!! Unlike Kombat Cup, the tournament format is double elimination which means a lot more matches and some interesting runbacks are bound to happen!
The first top 8 is certainly going to be a doozy as we will witness the return of many veteran NRS players. Evo Injustice 1 champion SonicFox makes it into tonight’s showcase. Will his dominance in Mortal Kombat X translate to Injustice 2?! Season 1 and 2 of Kombat Cup #1 ranked player Semiij has also made top 8 as he looks to prove that he is a force to be reckoned with in this game.
This first top 8 for War Of The Gods should definitely be an exciting week 1 finale that you do not want to miss out on. We have added the stream below and hope that you enjoy competition!
