Yamcha, Tien, and Original Character Revealed For Dragon Ball FighterZ!!

This month’s V-Jump has confirmed new characters who will be joining the cast of Dragon Ball FighterZ!! The latest scan reveals Yamcha and Tien, who appeared in the first Dragon Ball series. Tien in particular is dawning the outfit which he wore in the Dragon Ball Z Resurrection F movie.

The latest scan also gives us some insight into the two classic character reveals. Based on the description, Yamcha will be a character who has to get in close but will have tools like the true wolf fang fist which we believe has the ability to break the opponents defense and allows for a follow up after. Tien will be bringing along Chiaotzu as his support character will have some of his classic attacks like the true tri beam.

Surprisingly, there was a third character reveal and apparently this cast mate in particular is being introduced in DBFZ. Android 21, illustrated by Dragon Ball’s creator, Akira Toriyama, looks to have a connection to Android 16’s resurrection story. There is no confirmation as to her being a playable character at this time so you will have to stay tuned for more details about her as they are revealed.
