Initial Information About Tekken 7’s Online Mode Revealed!!
An interesting page has surfaced, on Microsoft’s store of all places, in regards to the upcoming Tekken 7 release for the Xbox One!!
The page reveals several details which lists features that will be coming to the home version. While many of the details have already been confirmed, there is one mention about the multiplayer online experience that players can expect on release.
The 1 to 8 player capability found on the page alludes to a possible lobby feature that most likely will be introduced as one of the online modes for the title.
If this information is fact, this would be double the size of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 which only allows 4 player lobbies.
There has been a ton of discussion of late when it comes to Tekken 7’s online possibilities especially when it comes to cross-network play.
With Mircosoft now open to developers making their games compatible across other gaming networks other than the PC, aspersions have been cast about who did not want to work with who on this endeavor.
Despite this back and forth, we certainly hope that Tekken 7 will be the first cross-network fighting game as it will definitely unify the player base for online!
