JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD ver no longer on Xbl!! *UPDATE*

*Update* 9/18/2014

It looks like the PSN for JJBA has officially been taken down from the digital store :(.

*Original Post*

It would seem another Capcom fighting game classic is biting the dust. Video game website Joystiq confirmed that Xbox Live has taken down JJBA HD ver. from stores. While this is bad news,  it has been confirmed by Capcom representatives that the game will still be playable online despite the delisting.

Though there is no reason as to why the game is no longer available, taking a look at the previous actions taken from when the vs. Marvel games were removed last year may just reveal what is happening to JJBA HD Ver.

As with Marvel, JJBA HD Ver. carries certain license agreements due to the origin of its’ content and characters. It could very well be that the license is up and so the game must be taken down.

Even though the XBL version is no longer, you still have a chance to obtain this title on PSN so don’t delay if you had plans to purchase this game. JJBA HD ver. was released on Aug 12, 2012. Many speculated that the game was released to consoles as a precursor to the recently released All Stars Battle a game developed by CyberConnect2 creators of the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series.
