KI Update 3.8 Now Available!! Important Info Announced!!

Killer Instinct’s latest update 3.8 is now available for download!! The latest update comes with bug fixes, balance changes to certain members of the cast, and the latest DLC character Eagle. We have added the patch notes video below so you can view the main details for character balance changes.

An important announcement was released yesterday in regards to the new character Eagle DLC. Apparently, the steam version, which has a release for later this year, will be receiving all of the alternate character DLC for free with purchase. Because of this, Microsoft Studios thought it best to also make this free to the Killer Instinct Definitive Edition owners but with a caveat, you may have to wait until the steam release releases in order to get the characters for free.

For now, Microsoft is sorting this out by making Eagle a free rotating character while they work on changing the characters purchase status. Season 3 Ultra Edition owners will be able to get Eagle free but once again there is going to be a wait. Eagle is available for purchase @ $4.99.
