Latest Street Fighter V Update Will Add New Classic Stage And More FM Targets!!

As promised, a new Capcom blog has been released giving us some more information on the latest update for Street Fighter V.

In addition to the improved Capcom Fighters Network, character balance changes, and the latest season 2 character Ed, players can look forward to a new classic stage and more targets for earning additional Fight Money!!

The latest classic stage happens to be host to the claw wielding ninja Vega and as you might have already guessed, the return of this stage can only mean one things:

We are certainly happy to this signature ability back where it belongs as it was one of the most memorable moments of the original Street Fighter II!! Like previous DLC stages you can add this latest classic one for $3.99 or 70,000 fm. The latest update will also give players an additional 50,000fm for those who sign in between May 30(the updates release date) and June 13!!

There will also be additional target missions as well giving players an opportunity to earn more fm starting June with a new target happening every month there after. Bear in mind, these new target opportunities will be regulated to each month and will expire at the end of that month.

Lastly, there are going to be some additional balance changes for some of the cast which we’ve added below:

- Balrog
  - Turn Punch
    - ① Level 1 – 6 Motion: Added throw invincibility for frames 1-18F.
    - ② Level 1 – 3 Motion: Changed to upper body and projectile invincibility from frames 3-18F.
    - ③ Level 4 – 6 Motion: Changed to attack and projectile invincibility from frames 3-18F.
    - ④ Level 7 – 10 (Final) Motion: Changed to complete invincibility from frames 1-18F
- R.Mika
  - Passion Press
    - Hitbox was reduced
- Dhalsim
  - Stand Heavy Punch
    - Changed the total frames from 44F ⇒ 42F
  - Back Throw

We are glad to finally see the latest update is finally getting a release and are hopeful that we will get some more information about the next season 2 character earlier next month especially with E3 just around the corner.
