The MKX Pro League Returns For Another Season!!

Nether Realm Studios released a new trailer revealing the return of the ESL Mortal Kombat X Pro League!!

Heading to the ESL website has uncovered more information about what players can expect this season.

There has been one major change in particular when it comes to this season of the Pro League and that has to do with the platform of choice. Playstation 4 will now be the new console used during this season.

The Pro League is also introducing the Latin American region which is sure to bring us more amazing competition!! The MKX Pro League is upping the ante when it comes to the finals as well.

This season, the final prize pot is now $200,000 which is a very big increase from the last two seasons.

In addition to the Pro League, ESL is introducing Challenger Cup a new weekly competition that will take the top 4 highest point earners and showcase them in a live broadcast match at the end of every month which can earn you cash prizes and possibly pro league points.

Unlike the pro league, the challenger cup will also be open to Xbox One players. The entire season culminates in a prize pool totaling $500,000(hint,hint) that will also include offline tournaments as well.

While this isn’t the news that we hoped for, it’s definitely exciting none the less. Now that Mortal Kombat XL has improved netcode, things are going to be very interesting this season.

We will be adding this new information to the events section for the entire season in but you can head over to official MKX ESL website to sign up now.
