Last year, the FGC said goodbye to one of its’ very beloved majors the Ultimate Fighting Game Tournament.
Tournament organizer Adam “Keits” Hearts, now a combat game designer for Killer Instinct, made a tough decision to retire his signature tournament as his responsibilities made it clear that it was time for him to move on.
Just before the conclusion of his last tournament, Keits brought on Richard Thiher ,who was an assistant director for the tournament, to announce that hope was not lost and that there would be a tournament that would rival the massive UFGT for more years to come.
That day is upon us and if there has been any indication of this tournament not being an ultimate reincarnation of what people loved about UFGT, then let this be a weekend of proving you wrong!!
Combo Breaker is underway and will be taking place from May 22-24 in Rosemont, Illinois!!
