VR Fighting Game Steel Combat Announced For Oculus Rift!!

VR, short for Virtual Reality, has become one of the focal points for this current generation of gaming. Despite the growing popularity of VR devices, there has not been any news about fighting games designed with the VR head sets in mind..until now at least.

Fighting game developer 8ing(Eighting), creators of Marvel Vs Capcom 3, have been working on a new fighting game that will be used with the Oculus Rift VR headset!!

Steel Combat was officially announced today and has a target release of Summer 2016!! Details are a bit scarce for us at the moment as this news is coming directly from Japanese video game website 4gamer but from what we have divulged, Steel Combat will be used with a control pad and players will have the ability to switch between close range and long range attacks.

Players will have control over robots battling it out in what has been described as a 360 degree arena. The game will include an online multiplayer with spectator mode and a training mode as well.

Hopefully we will get more details about Steel Combat in regards to a release date and some game play as well so stay tuned for more information!!
