Project M Ceases Development!!

Although we haven’t taken the time to shed light on the Super Smash Bros. Brawl mod Project M, we would still like to recognize the efforts of the development team as they close the chapter on their amazing project.

Project M was created mainly impart to turn Super Smash Bros. Brawl into the competitive game that had been highly popularized by the previous version Melee. The PMDev Team spent 6 years developing this mod creating balance changes and even adding extra characters.

You will find a full letter pertaining to the end of Project M’s(ver. 3.6 being the mods final iteration) development on their official website.

While this is sad news, PM’s development team aren’t quite stopping here as they have plans to move forward with an original title built from the ground up.

We definitely think they will do an amazing job and wish them the best of luck as they move forward.
