Evolution 2017 Lineup Revealed(Update)
Update 1/24/2017 10:23pm- The 2017 Evolution lineup is officially in the books and there were definitely some surprises if you missed out on the stream. Here is the official lineup:
Sunday’s lineup:
- Street Fighter V
- Super Smash Bros. Wii U
- BlazBlue Central Fiction
- Tekken 7: Fated Retribution
- Player’s Choice
Friday and Saturday lineup:
- Super Smash Bros. Melee
- Injustice 2
- The King Of Fighters XIV
- Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2
The biggest curve ball of this years EVO 2017 is the return of player’s choice!!
Right now you can head to generosity.com and vote/donate from a choice of 9 versus game titles.
Proceeds from the voting donation drive will go to the Make-A-Wish foundation and contribute to a guaranteed bonus pot of $10,000 for the fighting game title with the most votes.
The game will also showcased on the finals stage on Sunday as well.
The 2017 Evolution line up broadcast is just about to begin shortly!!
Evolution is by far the biggest stage when it comes to fighting game competition. Every year, over a thousand competitors come to Las Vegas from around the world to compete for the coveted Evo title.
As an influx of new fighting game titles come on the horizon, decisions have to made about what will make the official line up of this prestigious event.
As a result, many titles that have been on the Evo stage for a few years running may be on the chopping block this year and some titles that never graced the Evo stage before may just get their day in the sun.
