Latest V-Jump Issue Reveals More Information About Dragon Ball FighterZ!!

The latest issue of Weekly Jump has revealed a ton information about the upcoming Arc System Works fighting game, Dragon Ball FighterZ!!

Scans taken from the latest issue unveils playable characters Android 16 and 18 while confirming Android 17 will be a apart of 18’s super “Accel Dance”, a combination attack that will summon him during the activation. As you may have also noticed in the scan above, Super Sayian Blue Vegeta has also been confirmed along with Super Sayian Blue Goku who you can see below. Both characters will feature new moves separate from their level 1 Super Sayian incarnations. This is great news as it at least hints that potential Super Dragon Ball Z characters could be apart of the roster.

The latest scans have also revealed two game modes that will be available in DBFZ. So far we know there will be a story mode that involves the revival of Android 16 being described as “a new story for Goku and friends depicted in high-end animation”.  An online mode has also been unveiled as online party matches which will be allowing players to team up in a 3 vs 3 match that will have players tagging in and out in real time!

As a reminder, Dragon Ball FighterZ will be at Gamescon this weekend and so far we know a new build will be bringing at least Future Trunks, Krillin, Piccolo, in as playable characters. In addition, do not forget that the closed Beta registration for DBFZ will start on August 22nd with the game session starting on September 16th!! We have heard that more characters may be added to this build and these new reveals definitely make us believe that is a possibility!!
