A King Of Fighters XIV Demo May Be On The Way!!(Update!)

Update 11:53pm 7/12/2016- It looks like the demo announcement was a mistake on SNK’s part as they’ve taken down the original twitter post and have now added a new one in regards to pre-orders. We apologize for this inconvenience and will make sure to confirm that there is in fact a live demo on PSN in the future before we post any official announcements.

Update 11:13pm 7/12/2016- We are still awaiting confirmation of the demo announcement for KOFXIV as the demo seems to have not arrived on the PSN network. As soon as we are informed about what is going on, we will give you an update.

Update 10:28pm 7/12/2016- The official SNK twitter fan page has just announced that the King Of Fighters XIV demo is now available on PSN in the SIEA and SIEE regions!!

Because we are not familiar with SIEA, which we believe to be Sony Interactive Entertainment America, and the SIEE we cannot completely confirm where exactly this demo is available but we will find out if it is in fact available here in the states and update you on this information ASAP!!

Some interesting news has surfaced from a Chinese video game website that alludes to the possibility of a King Of Fighters XIV demo being available through the Hong Kong Playstation Network on July 20th!!

There has been no confirmation about how many characters will be available on this demo. While this has only been confirmed through the HK PSN, the possibility of this demo being available in the states on the same day is definitely promising.

The developers of KOFXIV and game publisher Atlus will have a panel at EVO this weekend so there may be the possibility of an official announcement of the demo during the discussion.

KOFXIV is now available for digital pre-order on the PSN. Players who purchase the Pre-Order will receive the classic Kyo Kusanagi costume, nightmare Geese costume, and the Neo Dynamic theme.

KOFXIV will be available on August 23 for the Playstation 4.
