It would seem that an issue with the latest patch for Street Fighter V on the PC has become very problematic and concerning for some players.

Reports have come in about PC users not being able to boot up the game.  A user on the reddit community site r/Streetfighter has uncovered a file that was found in the major part of the operating system.

The file in question named Capcom.sys, which is located in the System32 windows folder, seems to carry with it some potential security risks that could ultimately cause greater issues for your PC.

As a result, it is being recommended that you uninstall Street Fighter V for the time being until this issue is looked into further by the developers.

Capcom has become of aware of the issue and has posted a message on twitter to let players know that they are currently investigating the problem.

The issue may have originally stemmed from a new anti-hack measure which was added with the latest update for the PC to keep users from cheating and obtaining in-game currency through prohibited means.
