0Mortal Kombat XL On The PC Still May Be A Thing?!!
When Ed Boon released a cryptic tweet a few months back, we thought that the possibility of a PC release for the Mortal Kombat X update would be a sure thing.
To our dismay, we did not quite take the hint as it was revealed that the ESL MKX Pro League Season 3 would be making its return for another season.
Once again, Ed Boon recently posted something on twitter that alluded to Mortal Kombat XL coming to PC, but this time things were not as cryptic as before.
The tweet in question was a poll, something that the producer of Mortal Kombat has been doing on a regular basis to gauge what fans would like to see most.
Among the poll options“MKXL with GGPO for PC” was there and the end results spoke volumes:
Over 10,000 of you voted. Looks like you guys really want a MKXL PC and some character love/buffs! We hear ya! pic.twitter.com/1oHB4e3yHL

While this is only a small margin of potential PC players, it is more than obvious that there is a want for Mortal Kombat XL on PC despite the initial problems that has plagued MKX’s original release.
There have been rumblings about a possible PC port for the upcoming Injustice 2 fighting game and we would like to believe that Nether Realms Studios has an even greater understanding of the importance of making sure their PC titles get handled with great care.
It may not be much to go on at the moment but at least there is still a possibility and one can hope things will change with Nether Realms and their development of PC titles moving forward.
