SNK Reveals Its Tournament Support For KOF World Championships!!

SNK recently announced their new The King Of Fighters XIV e-Sports support program giving us more detail about what to expect for the KOF XIV World Championships happening next year!!

The support program is open to tournaments around the globe who are interested in hosting a qualification event.

SNK will initially be looking for tournaments(offline only) to host qualifications for next year between now and January 29th 2017.

Moving forward into what we believe will be the next World Championships, SNK is also looking to support tournaments between now and Aug. 31st 2017.(minimum of 20 participants)

So far, we know that the support for the World Championships will include special prizes(i.e. money, goods, etc.), advertisement of the supported tournaments, and games assets.

If you are a tournament organizer and are interested in applying for possible support from SNK, information on how to apply can be found on SNK’s KOFXIV website.

We are still waiting for details on where the official tournament will be held but it is good to see that things are moving forward and we definitely hope to see many of our favorite tournaments hosting qualifiers!!
