Capcom Cup December 14th!! Schedule Info Announced
In addition to the release date announcement for Ultra Street Fighter IV, combofiend has also released detailed information about Capcom Cup, a fighting game tournament featuring 3 popular Capcom titles, taking place December 14th.
“This event is open to the public, but seating may be limited so come a bit early to ensure you have a spot to watch the world’s best duke it out in Street Fighter X Tekken, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012.

In addition to the awesome tournaments going on throughout the day, Ultra Street Fighter IV will also be playable and who knows, maybe this version might be a little different from the Japan, Europe, Southern California and East Coast location tests. You’ll also find our sponsors and partners on hand who will have the latest and greatest Street Fighter items for you to check out.”
The tournament looks to be very exciting as it will be host to many great players from each of their respected fighting games. The tournament will also be streamed(broadcasted) on Capcoms Fighters twitch channel so those who can’t make it in person will have a chance to see these competitors and their amazing skill sets.
There is a great deal of speculation buzzing around this tournament as the announcement for the 5th new and final character addition to USF4 will most likely be announced during the stream among other possible announcements such as modes and next gen versions.
