Karin Returns In Latest Street Fighter V Reveal, CFN Unveiled!!

Once again, Ono’s cryptic tweeting has finally been uncovered and it is some one we here at FGO speculated might be in the game!!

Karin has returned and without a doubt is coming to do damage with her Kanzuki family brand of martial arts!! Her V-skills includes moves that will instantly knockdown an opponent, deal with fireballs, and can be charged similar to the focus attack mechanic in Street Fighter IV.

She will also have a V-trigger that increases her mix-up potential drastically allowing for a greater set of options to tackle your opponent. As we’ve expected, Karin should make up the final “character that you haven’t seen in a while” launch character.

With 2 more new character reveal and 2 more classic characters the choices are getting much harder when thinking about who will be playing on the official launch day!!

In addition to the latest character reveal, Capcom has also introduced an online community module titled Capcom Fighters Network.  CFN is in large a part an e-sports initiative that they’ve been working on since they developed the Capcom Pro Tour last year.

Aside from the replay and match invitations found in previous online modes, CFN will include a global map which will chart player activity, results from major fighting game tournaments, and player stats as well.

The player stats aim to help players improve their game with data that includes successful normal attacks landed, throw breaks, how well you did against individual character match ups and more!!

You can find more detailed information about Karin and CFN on Haunts Capcom-Community blog.

Capcom is definitely giving us more reasons to get excited about this upcoming title and we look forward to seeing what they have planned for the next set of reveals!!
