V-Jump Issue Reveals GT Kid Goku As Next FighterZ DLC!! Update!!

Bandai Namco has released some high-quality footage of the latest season 2 DLC character and so we have added a gallery below and updated the original screenshot above as a result:

Revealed by the latest issue of V-Jump’s magazine, Kid Goku from Dragon Ball GT has been confirmed as the latest DLC character for Season 2 of Dragon Ball FighterZ:

Not to be confused with Goku when he was a kid during the original Dragon Ball series, this version of Goku is the result of a transformation that occurred during the GT series. As the scan confirms, Kid Goku will utilize his old power pole, a weapon that has the ability to extend far beyond its original size. His super has been confirmed as a Super Kamehameha and his meteor attack will be a Super Ultra Genkidama which also happens to be shown in the scan as well.

While we are honestly not thrilled about the Goku mania that makes up much of Dragon Ball FighterZ roster, it’s hard not to get a little excited about having characters from each series in the franchise represented…even if it is another Goku.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC Via Steam.
