Update 5/27/2017 12:08am EDT- The ELeague Street Fighter V Invitational has officially come to its final conclusion!! The series was certainly intense and full of amazing high level play and we can only hope that the series will make its return next year!! Here are the final results:

After weeks of intense high level competition, it all boils down to this final event!! Eleague Street Fighter V Invitational Playoffs are about to commence in just a few!!

For the 8 players who have fought their way to make it here on today’s final showcase, a life changing opportunity awaits its champion as some of the best in this generation of Street Fighter duke it out to take home the ultimate prize of a $250,000 cash pool for today’s challengers!!!

From the start, things will be intense as Punk and PR Balrog,two of the favorites in this series, will face each other in the first match. With both players dominance in their respective groups, deciding the winning out come is nothing but pure speculation at this point. The insanity continues after with Fuudo, one of the most consistent players of this years Capcom Pro Tour, taking on who we believe to be the dark horse of the tournament Phenom.

This leads us to the nail bitters of this competition as we will witness the end of two individuals tournament run with the legendary Daigo “the beast” Umehara going up against Capcom Cup’s 2014 champion Momochi and Laura specialist Wolfkrone taking on ESL Brooklyn Beat Down’s champion Xiao Hai with his stellar Cammy play.
