Akuma Will Not Be The Only Guest Character In Tekken 7!!

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has unveiled some “hidden secrets”, as they put it, about what they have planned for Tekken 7 DLC on game launch day and the future.

Among the list of planned additional content are two playable guest characters from other videogames licenses who will come with a special stage and costume!!

The first character is planned for winter of this year with the second coming some time in the spring. Speculations of who these characters will be is certainly a shot in the dark.

The possibility of there being two more characters from the Street Fighter universe seems like the safest bet. After all, Tekken X Street Fighter is still kind of a thing.

Another potential guest character may come from one SNK title in particular as Tekken 7’s producer Harada has shown an interest in rebooting the Samurai Showdown franchise. SNK’s new licensing program has certainly shown that it can happen with Mai Shiranui guest starring in Dead Or Alive as one example!

The excitement for Tekken 7 Fated Retribution has certainly been full of anticipation and this latest news is just adding fuel to the fire. With so much to look forward to already on June 2nd, we really can not fathom how mind blown we will be by next year!
