ESL Is Hosting A Big Street Fighter V Tournament In October!!!

While many fans of Street Fighter V are most likely focused on what is happening with the Capcom Pro Tour, some will be surprised to know that there is a pretty big tournament going down at the beginning of October!

The Brooklyn Beat Down, hosted by ESL One, will be taking place at the Barclay’s center in New York!!

With a 1024 player cap and a $75,000 prize pot up for grabs, this could make for a very big event, but that isn’t all there is to it.

During the next few weeks, online region qualifiers will be taking place in North America,Europe, and Brazil(as shown on ESL)!! The top 2 finishers of each qualifier will compete in a final qualifier in August where the 1st place winner will earn an all expense paid trip to the Brooklyn Beat Down.

Information in regards to sign-ups and rules can be found on the ESL Play website.

For those who are interested in attending the event, registration is available on Event Brite($10 admission fee). The next  North American online qualifier happens on Tuesday August 2nd!!
