Ibuki To Be Released With Story Mode “At The End Of June”!!

If you were looking forward to playing the new Street Fighter V Ibuki soon, you are going to have to wait just a little more longer than expected.

While traditionally Street Fighter V has released one new DLC character at the end of each month, Ibuki unfortunately will be releasing with the SFV story mode update planned for June.

Capcom had this to say on the matter via their official Street Fighter twitter feed:

“We wanted to clear up the confusion around the release of Ibuki in #SFV. She will be released alongside Story Mode at the end of June. We planned for her to come out at the end of May/beginning of June but there were unforeseen delays. Thank you for being patient. Moving forward we will work to communicate information surrounding content releases in #SFV at a much more rapid pace. We’ll have a blog with more info surrounding the June content and other topics the community has brought up in the next day or so. Once again, thank you for your continued support. June is going to be a huge month for #SFV so stay tuned for more news!”

The release of Street Fighter V has had very serious pit falls starting from the beginning of release. Aside from the server issues and lack of initial content, Capcom has yet to add the purchase option in-game currency known as Zenny for players. There has also been a bit of controversy regarding  the 8 frames of input lag that was confirmed by certain competitive players in the community.

We do hope that Capcom can turn these series of unfortunate events around as they move forward from this mid point in the year.
