Injustice 2 Trailer Released!!

One day after the leaked poster for Injustice 2, a new trailer has been released!!

While the trailer doesn’t show actual gameplay for the upcoming title, it does give us a glimpse for some of the cast which officially confirms Super Girl as one of the new additions to the Injustice universe.

Nether Realm’s community specialist Tyler Lansdown has also posted some interesting details about the upcoming title on the Playstation Blog!! As some might have noticed during the trailer, the heroes armor would change and there is definitely something to this.

This change in armor is being coined as the gear system which will reward players with a “power up” by dropping loot every time you play.

Landsdown goes on to explain what will make this new mechanic special:

“As you gear up your characters, you’re building a roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains that reflects your choices, and your preferences, which can be vastly different than your opponents. A few play sessions in, you can expect your Aquaman to look and play different than anyone else’s Aquaman you may come across.”

We are definitely intrigued about this new mechanic and wonder how it will be taken when players actually have the opportunity to try this out. We expect there to be a lot more information during the week of E3 so stay tuned for more details!!

Injustice 2 is targeted for a 2017 release and is confirmed for both the Playstation 4 and Xbox One console!
