Kill La Kill: IF Has An Official Release Date!!

Arc System Works has announced the official release date for Kill La Kill: IF:

For those unfamiliar with Kill La Kill, the game is based on a popular Anime created by Studio Trigger, also responsible for another favorite of mines Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan. Arc System Works has come onboard solely as a publisher this time around leaving the development to A+ Games, the minds behind Little Witch Academia: Chamber Of Time.

This collaborative effort brings the characters from the anime into a 1 vs 1 arena style brawler that will include guard breaking attacks and evasive movement to overcome your opponent. There will be 10 playable characters at launch two of which are dual wielding alternatives of the main characters with 2 more free character DLC incoming. Online modes will include a casual matchmaking mode(no details on the lobby system), and a ranked matchmaking mode.

More information about this title can be found on the official website. Killa La Kill: IF will be coming to western shores this summer on July 26th for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
