More Details, New Infinity Stones, and Gameplay Revealed In Latest MVCI Videos!!

After the E3 Sony Playstation press conference, Capcom released a slew of new content for Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite giving us major details on the new game mechanics for the game in a new gameplay introduction video:

The introductory video provides a great deal of insight into how Capcom plans to make this game a little more accessible to new comers. The easy combo mechanic utilizes the light punch button allowing you to press it repeatedly to perform multiple attacks. There is also an easy hyper combo mechanic but it only allows for one type of hyper combo which means players will need to learn the motions if they want to execute the other hyper combos available.

The video also introduced the new tag system mechanic titled active switch which has the ability to bring your teammate in during combos or assist them when they are getting hit or blocking an attack. Two new infinity stones were revealed during this video as well. The new reality stone gives players a homing projectile and is certainly a great set up tool especially on knockdown. The stone’s power, infinity, storm gives players an even bigger surge of power that can attack the opponent either on the ground or in the air.

An additional gameplay trailer was also released as well giving us a look at some of the latest character reveals which includes Dante, Zero, Dr. Strange, Thanos, Nathan Spencer,Nova,Arthur, and Rocket Raccoon, who has Groot for assist attacks. There is also some more examples of the new reality infinity stone showcased in the video.

As as a reminder, the MVCI story demo is now available on the Playstation 4 for download!! Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 19!
